Few weeks ago, I’ve picked the opportunity to visit the Moto Guzzi factory in Mandello del Lario.
I’ve never been there before, even if I knew some models and a bit of history of the brand.
It was a special sunday, so the tourist could visit the wind tunnel (the only one ever made for a bike), as well as the engine assembly lines and complete bikes assembly.
After the production zone, we moved to the museum that literally leaved me with no word to say.
It’s been an incredible feeling passing near so many historic models, reading the stories behind them.
The most interesting bike, was the Ottocilindri (read Eightcylinders) as it was a 500cm3 V8, super advanced about it’s technical aspects and solution, even compared with modern engines.
